Gladstone Pottery works in Stoke-on-Trent, England. A working museum. We didn't go in, but these towers stood tall against the backdrop of the city...and we circled around them a few times, and I admired them each time!

Staff in the tiny kitchen preparing and cooking oatcakes at the Hole in the Wall Oatcakes, in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, the last traditional oatcake shop in the city. The business, which was established 115 years ago finally closed on 25th March 2012. The family-run company closed due to the regeneration of the area which will see the business premises, owned by Glenn and Sue Fowler, being demolished.
