So its over. I'm home from my last day of school in who knows how long. I know I've been complaining endless for the last year about how much I can't wait to get my free time back, but I'm going to miss it. I have a pretty good feeling that I'll be back eventually. Blossom Tree Lino Cut Print
Back to trees and birds again, inspired, of course, by the time of year. Spring is full of hope, the sunshine makes us smile and if only there were no exams in June, all would be well. So in our house we need to add peace and calm in the build up to GCSE's, hence the dove. This lino cut is hand printed in two layers, on handmade paper, which is dyed a soft blue-grey. Today the spotlight shifts from Paperchase to Marks and Spencer for our Christmas inspiration. I loved this box set of 20 cards featuring simple modern graphics of a robin, tree and two typographic designs. They also have a two pack of designs featuring the current fashion fave Aztec style, and again neon pink.
