Another shot from my walk through Severals Woods last week... Misty, moody, gloomy and yet colourful! The Severals are near Midhurst and this is a patch of bracken growing in a small clearing in the woods. Just imagine what you might see if you go down to the woods today.
Love this time of the year for misty light, autumn colours and the changing season. There's a small clearing deep in Severals Woods near Midhurst where bracken grows. I caught it on the turn – a patch of yellow in sea of grey trees.
Seventeen of them in the photo and even more of them out of shot. One thing for certain, there are no shortage of Fallow Deer on The South Downs! This herd of Fallow were on Harting Down yesterday morning. I went up to photograph the mist and my landscape shot was photo bombed... :-)
Hard to believe that this time last month we were sitting on a Cornish beach at Portheras Cove. Love the light in Cornwall, big skies and horizons. Please take a look at this photo and others on my website For my day job I’m Creative Director at Wisetiger
