Owl made of paper plates & cotton wool - for display of the book "The Owl Who's Afraid of the Dark". The brown  effect I used brown markers to create 'streaks' on the cotton ball. Cotton balls on the wings- I opened up the ball and cut out a tear drop shape and glue the the top part (narrow part) onto the plate. I layered the pasting to make it look like feathers.
