Home Interiors: Industrial Lighting
The use of industrial lighting in the modern home.
From electrical substations in the North of England to the Rolls Royce factories of Derby, the green enamel lamp shades in our collection are salvaged from a wide variety of locations. Entirely original, each with their own history, these classic examples of industrial design include the iconic names REVO, Benjamin and Thorlux. You can also explore our other collections of coloured vintage enamel lights in black, white and grey.
Through into the kitchen, above the island, you can see a row of our 1950s suspended Czech lights. These pendants were salvaged from an industrial site within the former Eastern Bloc and their original clear glass wells offer ample down lighting. Newly renovated colourful Arts & Crafts family home in Bedford, created by interior designer Brooke Copp-Barton. Preserving its original features and authenticity.
Substantial prismatic bulkhead lights salvaged from a mothballed factory in the North East of England. Sensitively restored, they retain the original linear prismatic glass lens set within an imposing two-part lacquered cast steel enclosure. Suitable for mounting on the wall or ceiling.
