Walking Through Past and Present Partick Last year I took myself on a tour of Maryhill in Glasgow, guided by old photographs. As I moved home away from Maryhill when I was 12 years old I thought it was time to come up to date and do the same thing around Patrick where I stay now. In the foreground, right, is the original Pollokshaws Methodist Church. The structure beside it on the edge of the pavement is a gents' toilet and beyond that is the Afton Terrace tenement.
