As summertime gets closer, it gets harder to keep our kindergarteners engaged. All of us (teachers included) have summer on our minds and that can make it hard to squeeze in the last bit of learning time we have left for the year. That is why it's important to bring in fun, summer-themed activities, and summer crafts for kindergarten that will pique our students' interest. We can still keep them learning until summer break is officially here!
Back to school… Those three words do one of two things: They either burn your eyes or give you butterflies. It's okay to experience either, or even both, of these feelings. There is SO much work that goes into preparing for the first day of school. It's almost like preparing for a marathon—except we don't end up fit in the end, ha!
Don’t let staying home keep you from being outside. Active play is the best exercise for young children. There are so many ways to learn and play in your very own backyard too.
