Towan Beach to St Anthony's Head on Cornwall's Roseland Peninsula Falmouth Harbour, Roseland Peninsula, Anthony Head, St Anthony's, Coast Path, Poor Dog, Three Dogs, Newquay
You have to do this beautiful walk around The Roseland Peninsula in Cornwall!
It was an amazingly warm, sunny, summers day in Cornwall, so we packed up the car with the three dogs and took the King Harry Ferry across to The Roseland, to explore some of the coast path there. We opted to take a quick look at Towan Beach with the intention of strolling along the coastal path towards St. Anthony's Head. Positioned at the base of the Roseland, it offers panoramic views across Falmouth Harbour on the opposite side of the river estuary. Read on! >

Sennen to Land's End: Searching for Shipwrecks
You can get a great view of this Cornish ship wreck from the cliffs above, but if you’re fit and able, you can also climb down to the cove via what’s become a steep cliff path. I was expecting it to be really hard work to get down, but in all honesty I think climbing down to Pedn Vounder is much harder, and hundreds of people do that every day in summer! What you really need to be careful of is the rusted parts of the ship that have been piled on top of the rocks. Read on >

Towan Beach to St Anthony's Head on the Roseland peninsula, Cornwall Truro
Towan Beach to St Anthony's Head on the Roseland peninsula, Cornwall
Driving through the Roseland peninsula is always fun, with winding, wild roads, but we soon found the National Trust car park for Towan beach and parked up (not to be confused with the Towan beach in Newquay, on the opposite coast!). Towan beach on the Roseland is dog friendly all year round, and has a little cafe at top of the hill before the beach, as well toilets and an outside shower! Read on for more photos and tips >
