The Frugality Style

Fashion | My Work
I had a really quiet January, workwise. I would usually be off on high summer styling campaigns this time of year but at 8 months pregnant, travel has been limited. But I also realised a huge part of January for me is organising show schedules, tickets, travel and projects for February. Not this year - and I couldn't be happier.
Yep, I'm now fully into my third trimester (30 weeks now!) and this pregnancy feels very real. Saying that, I'm already in the final stretch and have managed to get away without purchasing too many new items of clothing (and I am working on a video to show you exactly what I bought/used - coming soon).
Apologies, this is a bit of a show off post (and I'd also be lying if I wasn't relieved I had access to some images I didn't have to take myself at the moment!)...but I'm super excited that I was asked to be part of a Wardrobe Icons shoot, with some wonderful inspirational women.
Excitingly, we compiled these gift guides by colour rather than theme - so you will find kids, men and women of all ages in one place - more presents for 'everyone' rather than organising into sections. Everything is under £100 (and the majority far under that, but I've allowed some higher price points for jewellery etc) and available online. And I will be releasing one every day this week! Hope you like...
It's no secret I am pretty clueless when it comes to being business savvy. Coming from the creative editorial side of magazines rather than commercial, I've always lacked that business side of the brain. Saying that, this year is a big one in moving forward with the blog. You probably won't notice much different going on here, but behind the scenes I'm working on streamlining everything into a fully fledged business.
Someone asked me recently on Instagram whether they should invest in a classic grey or camel coat...and I replied 'grey'. But since that comment, I've not taken this coat off - I love the autumnal feel of it at this time of year and the fact it glides almost along the pavement as I walk.
