A refurbished house demonstrating retrofit solutions for energy inefficient homes in the UK has been constructed in Scotland. A recreation of a ‘four in a block’ building, the house will enable robust assessments to be made of cost effective upgrading solutions for walls, windows, roofs and services for this building type.
Crossrail devised a novel use of data analytics to track the progress of tunnel boring machines and ground surface deformation in real time.
