This might seem elementary.but I love the quiet spray idea! Very cool teacher ideas on this site. Quiet spray has nothing in the bottle but air. This may be the smartest classroom management tool I have ever seen.
This is a great center activity for younger students to help them with their spelling, sight words, motor skills, and handwriting. I would use this as an activity center and have students work on sight words and/or spelling words.
Phonic Baskets Sorting Activity (from The Imagination Tree). Take a few boxes or baskets, write a letter on a piece of paper and gather many different items that begin with the letter. Have the student put the items in the corrected basket/ boxes.
spelling For this spelling activity the teacher writes a word on the chalkboard and the students write over it with a paint brush and water. This helps the students get familiar with spelling words and helps them practice writing them.
