Bespoke Media Wall & Living Room Furniture
Although we’re very proud of our kitchen transformations over the years, we also pride ourselves on being able to create beautiful bespoke solutions for *any* space. From media units and living rooms to home offices and bedrooms, our team brings the same enthusiasm, experience and innate sense of design to every project.
Bespoke Media Wall & Luxury Home Ideas
Many clients that come to us for kitchen design also ask us to help them with bespoke furniture design elsewhere in the home. Media walls in living rooms are very highly requested - not only do they look beautiful, but they’re super practical too. We love making the heart of the home as homely as possible for you. Especially at this time of year, when we spent a lot more of our evenings getting comfy in front of the tv! Is a media wall at the top of your Christmas wish list this year?!

Spring Styling tips for your space | Thomas James Bespoke Luxury Kitchens
Florals for Spring? Groundbreaking... A little added colour in the home can go a long way. For example, placing flowers around a room where you can see them can improve your mood and help you connect better with others. The great thing about flowers is that they come in all shapes, sizes and colours - they're the perfect way to compliment your new household designs or help rethink your home's internal look.

Leave thicker living room curtains behind and opt for something more lightweight over the Summer months - another way to make the room feel more airy and light. Declutter windowsills, too, if you keep things on them; the key at this time of year is to let in as much natural light as possible.

Spring styling tips for your space | Thomas James Bepsoke | Luxury Kitchens
Switch out softly coloured velvet pillows and blankets to linen, soft-tone fabrics, all of which add a bright and airy feel for Spring. Other spring-refresh swaps include changing rugs around: you could have a complete revamp and swap one from upstairs to downstairs, or if you have storage space, switch a heavier design for a lighter-weight cotton version and roll up the winter rug until fall.

Alderley Edge Luxury Utility Room | Thomas James Bespoke
Bespoke utility room with a sink, appliances, pet beds, and food storage. Again, our design team mirrored features from the kitchen design, such as the cockbeading, handle design and paint colour. The utility design creates a warm and welcoming space that ensures continuity around the home, ensuring each space is practical and can be used to its full potential.

The back wall of the kitchen includes a white, black and chrome Aga, which stands proudly underneath a hidden extraction hood and custom mantle. One of the main features of this room is the beams, a feature that the homeowners wanted to bring into the kitchen design. Our design team achieved this by handcrafting a bespoke mantelpiece in a wood that matches the beams and implementing in the shelving alcoves and bespoke chopping boards.

The large quartz top island seats four, leaving more space for hosting, cooking and dining and providing ample storage for large appliances and cooking equipment. This island is also home to two Miele ovens, a hob, and a Shaws of Darwen butler sink. These appliances and features are mainly hidden or blend in perfectly with the rest of the kitchen, ensuring all of the necessary appliances are easy to hand, without dominating the space.
