Forgotten London Underground posters
This Station Will Now Remain Open During Air Raid Alerts; Artist Unknown, November 1940. The Underground Group, and later London Transport, produced a wide variety of public information posters during the First and Second World Wars. During the Second World War, posters served both to relay essential information and to lift commuters' spirits.
