Writing Prompt for Halloween (spooky story): Write a story starting with the following - "When I was passing in front of Ms. Smith's window, I saw..."

This post-modern photograph portrays a meaning of appearances in how we view ourselves. The image has been altered in photoshop to create faces different emotions.

Why are we the food police when it comes to what people can and can't eat? Why do we expect all women to look the same?

I really like this image and how the writing/text is stuck/moulded to her face in the photograph. I also like the message this image portrays and the effect it will have on people. The dark/dull colours also relate to the scene from the image.

I never buy fashion or women's magazines because it promotes this kind of shackling of women. We are not what we wear or put on our faces or into our stomachs. Why do we do this to ourselves, to our self-image and confidence, and self-esteem? Rise above.
