This work explore the ways the surfaces of the body can be perfected - 'so that we are not reminded of the mutability, fragility of our bodies' Clancy (the artist)says. By creating images of scarred skin, with capillaries visible on the surface, Clancy ephasises our somatic nature. Carl Beazley is a U.K based artist specialising in experimental / surrealist portraiture. He grew up in Berkshire, England.
