Julia Geiser is an illustrator from Basel, Switzerland. She is specialized in digital collages and illustrations. In her works she balances geometric shapes and vintage portraits (exclusively taken from the internet), and slices up their faces in a sort of cutting. Geiser’s collages create a surreal colorful word, where she expresses her own personal dream-like vision.

“Impermanence” is a series of portraits by Korean photographer and microbiologist Seung-Hwan Oh who drowns his films camera before using them, into a cultivation of fungus mushrooms. The bacterias devour the film for an abstract and destroyed result. A beautiful way to mistreat a film and to rebel against the perfect and idealized pictures we see everywhere nowadays.

This image was created by Rankin, he has simply destroyed this picture by tearing it up and putting it back together again using black thread. It also looks like he has incorporated another material placed on the bottom right of the image. He layers his images by using different types of materials which brings a meaning to the image, shows rebalance and the woman's evil side.
