Our majestic court room is used for performances, workshops and courses. Before the Town Hall was transformed into an arts centre, magistrates would sit behind the bench to hear cases and give their verdict. The people of the town were allowed to sit in the public gallery to see what happened. We are currently in the process of transforming the court room into a music venue for the people of Trowbridge. Our supper room, located up the beautiful staircase, is a great space used for everything from yoga classes and dance classes to craft fairs and our weavers market. It's also available for hire! Our Art and Book Shop. We are proud to sell a huge amount of locally made items in our shop, from handmade cards to beautifully crafted ceramics, there's stuff you'll find nowhere else. We Are Undressed is located in our foyer, the vegan zero waste shop is a non for profit and offers a wide range of dry foods, toiletries and other essentials for the home. The stained glass window located on our stairs is a stunning piece of history. From beautiful emblems and dates celebrating 50 years of Queen Victoria's reign, to inscriptions telling the story of the royal opening.
