"I'm Done!" jar for when students are finished early: write some activities on popsicle sticks, and when students finish early, direct them to the jar where they'll pull a stick and do the activity listed. No more "I'm done! I'm done!

Its always essential to implement rules that are achievable. Its important that students understand that they are learning and that its okay to make mistakes.

Display idea for group rotations - could use for guided reading, literacy or maths groups. Give students some autonomy in selecting their activity, rotating through the stations and moving their pegs.

I think you could copy Fountas & Pinnell workboard icons and mount to construction paper.This doesn't take up as much room as a pocket chart! A center organizer that ISNT a pocket chart! I absolutely love this!
