Charlotte Caron's heads. Wow these are the most disturbing animal heads I've seen in a while. Glad someone refreshed the whole "animal head" genre, which has gone the cutesy genteel route the last couple of years.

Animals, You're an Animal, Don't take anything less . / Animal, Song by James Bellamy. 🎤 animal masks on photographic portraits are the work of French artist Charlotte Caron.

this illustration is beautiful! and could be redone through the concept of using a females facial/ portrait area and have her lips coloured red to symbolise love-passion/kissing, use half the face of an animal which represents love, use the rose within her hair to represent love etc... as a concept for the cover of my romance novel- just a concept which could work or could not work.

This would be an awesome tattoo, could change the girls face, colors, different animal. I like the owl a lot though.

By Kath Girdler Engler, "I favour the textures and broken forms of ancient sculptures that look as if they have been lifted from an archeological dig, bringing with them the sedimentation of centuries. I also collect the ephemera and fragments of our own recent past to enrich and illustrate the mystery of each sculpture."

It felt like my head was growing a tree this morning. Paper pulp and found object sculpture by Kathleen Girdler Engler

This is the sort of thing I want to do. A connection between people and nature. Tree branches = veins.

Cast of blood vessels of the human hand by Gunther Von Hagens. The human body is a beautiful thing.

"Her drawings are influenced by Victorian, ghost stories, old photographs, daydreams and nightmares. Working with pencils, Courtney creates dreamy worlds of lost girls and bewildering creatures, focusing on the beauty of nature and its dominance over time." Beautiful art by Courtney Brims

I like this piece as it's a series of the same photographs just different insides of the woman, making each photograph different from the other, the use of colours and the photographs used inside of the women make the piece look attractive.

I haven't checked the actual web-site as I don't use Photoshop, but I love the effect and can see me using this myself. Where I pinned it from said "How to Create a "Double Exposure" in Photoshop — Daily Epiphanie"
