Sarah J Brown Cadgwith Artist

Sarah J Brown is an artist living and working in Cadgwith Cove on the Lizard Peninsula, Cornwall. She paints an eclectic mix of subjects including fish, boats, ceramics and old wooden carved objects. Her work is a mixed media approach with collage, oils and screen printing all playing a part in the end result. She studied fine art at Falmouth and Birmingham Schools of Art. She is married to a fisherman and has two children.

The Cadgwith Fleet
This is a ceramic fish painted in a delftware inspired design. It depicts the registration numbers of the Cadgwith Fishing boats, past and present. 100 of these fish, individually painted by various artists and celebrities, are to be auctioned in May in aid of the Fishermen’s Mission
