Kamchatka Ice Cave is located on the Kamchatka Peninsula of Russia. It is almost one kilometre long and was carved out of a glacier of Kamchatka by an underground river sourced from a hot spring originating from the Mutnovsky volcano.

An ice cave on the Kamchatka Peninsula of Russia. The cave was formed by a stream flowing beneath glacial ice on Mutnovsky volcano; the stream originated from the hot springs associated with Mutnovsky. Photo taken in Sept 2012 by Marc Szeglat.
