St. Ives, Cornwall - A view looking down Barnoon Hill toward the town. The entrance to Ayr Lane can be seen on the right. Barbara Hepworth's studio former home now occupies the house on the corner. The building behind the steps on the left later became the site of a cinema (Palais de Danse) and then was subsequently used as a studio by Barbara Hepworth in the 1960's.
