L7 Jim Dine
I chose Jim Dine because in some of his pieces he chooses a very basic and common shape but manipulates it to his own design and makes it unique. In his other pieces, he places them alone in the middle of the page to be the main subject but the way he draws them doesn't seem like a still life. It's almost as if he personifies the tools. And his use of color is very remarkable. You would think one would overdue it but the placement and texture of it is quite flattering.
